What tradeidea is
tradeidea is an online Australian trading platform for securities and exchange-traded options, operated by alphadesk.
It connects market analysis, multi-leg strategy construction, pricing, execution and portfolio risk — across Australian equities, ETFs, live data, research and trade ideas.
Account structure
Securities and cash remain distinct.
tradeidea's current account setup includes a CHESS-sponsored HIN for eligible Australian securities and a Macquarie Cash Management Account used as the linked cash account. The HIN identifies holdings on the CHESS subregister; the CMA holds settlement cash.
